Hey group! I haven't been on here in a few days but we've been a little preoccupied.
I don't know if I have mentioned this before, but I have a 15 year old daughter who has been very sick for a long time. She has had several neck and throat surgeries over the past few months. She has been fighting cancer for many months and this past week has been increasingly difficut for her. She has good days and then not so good days.
We are in fact a very spiritual family but sometimes it's difficult for us to understand the reason these things happen. She truly loves dogs though and she is the love of our lives as well.
She has suffered through many chemotherapy and radiation therapy treatments. There are several things she wants to do in her life and she is a fighter. She wants to go to her high school prom, get her drivers license, graduate with her friends, take a senior trip and join the Peace Corps. She is a true angel here on earth. These simple things she wants out of life are things we all to often take for granted.
There is only so much we can do in this day and time. We would certainly appreciate any and all thoughts, prayers and best wishes to be sent her way. If anyone would like to PM me, I will gladly provide our post office box address for any cards or letters you wish to send to her. She loves getting mail! We also have a gift center set up and I can provide that information in the PM as well, if you request it.
Again, we appreciate any and all good things everyone sends our way! We have lots of fun here and she really enjoys posting with me. It seems as though we've made lots of friends and we love it!
Thanks to everyone and take care!

Friends will step in when the rest of the world steps out.
wow, thats tuff. I'm 15 and I understand her wanting to do this but this is holding her back. And I couldn't imagine going through all that, man, she is strong. I hope she will start feeling better soon. :)
Shelties: Not enough words to describe how much I love them.
