My baby Corona is really skinny right now. She eats and plays with my other dog but she just seems to be really skinny. We have checked her poo for worms and have treated her but she doesn't seem to have them. Is there anthing else it could be? Please help me I am a worried mommy.
i am having the same issue with my male boxer he goes thru theses stages where he is real healthy looking then its looks like he dont never get feed or something its makes me feel bad as well cause of the way he looks
Alot of boxers have very high matabolisom, so yes they tend to stay thin when they are younger. Keep them on a high quality diet, and you should be fine. You should not be able to see there hip bones, and they should not have a protruding spine. Other then that, it is not unusual to see most of there larger ribs.
My boxer is skinny but i asked her vet and she said she is just fine as long as she is eating plenty. I feed her at least twice a day but due to her none stop going she just cant get fat. I dont think you should worry about it but if it gets worse consult your vet.
I'm with the others on here that Boxers are just normally skinny dogs. I've known and had several boxers and I currently have a boxer mix but he has a definite boxer body. He eats several times a day and is still skinny. I give him great exercise though and that could be part of why he is so skinny but I've never seen a fat boxer. Keep them exercised and fed properly with regular vet visits and your boxer will stay skinny and healthy :)
