We have had him since he was 1 month old and we did the whole potty thing and he did well but now he is back too peeing in the house. We have 2 other dogs and 5 other cats but they dont pee in the house. He just stated to do it. What should i do about it please let me know. thank you boxerlover1994
Is he neutered? Is he having an accident or marking? These are two separate issues. Marking the male will start lifting his leg "squirting" vertical surfaces in your home once he has hit sexual maturity. This can happen for a number of reasons... because you bring home a new baby, hormones etc. he will mark his territory from perceived rivals (your other pets). An accident would likely been a large puddle away from a wall.
Has there been a change in his routine? It is not unusual for a puppy to regress, especially once owners get comfortable and lax in the routine. Dogs live by structure and routine, any slight change to that may leave a puppy confused and get them started/stuck on a new, not so good routine.
Clean all the spots he's had his accidents well so he can't smell his urine then start his training over from the beginning as if you just brought him home. I wouldn't expect a puppy to be a hundred percent toilet trained until it's outgrown being a pup around 2-3 years old and can be left at least 7 hours without incident.
When asked what he would do if stranded on a deserted island with nothing but a cow in sight; "I would find out what the cow was eating and join him."
