Dachshunds

Hello,

I am trying to find a red, smooth coat, female dachshund, with a black nose :) I have had doxies all my life, and my lat one passed away before I moved here to AR, and I am having the hardest time finding one! I can not believe the colors they have now a days. My last one was a mini doxie AKC reg and all, but she weighted 20 lbs, and she was not over weight at all, i would lke to try and find one arounf that weight again, not one of the tiny ones, does anyone have any info???

Search the Breeder Classifieds at akc.org. There are 143 registered AKC dachshund breeders throughout the US, with a couple in AR.

Also check out the Dachshund Club of America at www.dachshund-dca.org.

And don't rule out rescuing a buddy from a shelter!

not sure what this is, but i found something called "http://www.dachshundbreedernetwork.com/contact.asp", and it's a dachshund site. I accidently set up a fake person named j w with a some person from the network and gave a wacky phone number and e-mail. I don't know how it works, but its worth a shot.

wait...OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used to have one that exactly fitted your description! But...that was in Kindergarten. *sniff*
