Hi I'm new to this sight. i do have a problem with my wheaten terrier. He a good dog we've had him for over 3 months. and he'sbeen great up utill a few weeks ago he started stairing at my 10 year old son an jump at his face. he doesn't bite him but sure looks like he is going to. this happens at bed time. and he only seen to do it to my son.
If it is something that is happening the same time every night, then put to dog away or on a leash. It could be an alpha behavior, and it could turn agressive. have you done obediance or any training with the dog? Weatons are terriers, and if not bred correctly, they can and do have a nasty streak. I would suggest tring to find a in home trainer, and even recording the incident so that a trainer understands exactly what is going on. good luck
I would definitely have the puppy crated or outside in a kennel or in a fenced in back yard when it is time for bedtime for your son. With this situation one miss calculation on the puppy's part and your son could be hurt very badly. If the puppy doesn't show any more aggression at any other time then crating the puppy before your sons bedtime has taken care of the issue, but if there are other incidents talk to a dog trainer.
I love German Shepherds and will always have one with me for the rest of my life!
