Several years ago my son left the rabbit hutch open on our farm and all of our rabbits quickly became "wild" rabbits. I figured the dogs and cats would make a quick meal out of them but surprisingly they are still around. They aren't multiplying though - we do think the cats take care of that but the original adults are still around. We love to watch them bop around the yard and fields and visitors always get a kick out of it. Anyway, my question is we have noticed one rabbit that just kinda flops around. It acts almost like it can't move it's front legs or at least not very well. It just started this weekend. We were going to try to catch it and take it to the vet but it's doing a great job of hiding when we are looking for it. Any ideas? What exactly is distemper and can rabbits get it?
