my female is 3 pounds an the male is a toy poodle weighs 4 pounds about around how many puppy's will she have an how long dose she carry them

Why did you feel that she needed to breed with a poodle?

No one can tell you how many puppies she could expect to have. She can have 1 or 2 or 3 or ever how many mother nature decides she should have.

It is often best to research these things before breeding. She should carry them around 63 days.

I'm just not fully understanding the purpose of this but maybe someone else can come along with more experience and advice. My advice, have her spayed and have your fella neutered.

Here is what you could prepare for from the thread below this one especially with a female that small. Better start saving c-section money now. If your lucky she didn't get pregnant.

I want to know where she got the 3lb shih-tzu. I have never heard of them being that small. You had better hope that this pregnacy and or delivery doesn't kill her. I would have her at the vet now having those pups aborted and the bitch spayed.

She will have 23 puppies, and she will carry them for 10 1/2 months.

Even breeders who breed for tiny toys don't usually breed females under 5 pounds! This female (if real) is very small for breeding. If you insist on taking such chances and risking your female by continuing this pregnancy, please do the right thing and seek advice from your veterinarian right away and establish some sort of plan for pregnancy, delivery and caring for the pups. This pregnancy and everything that goes with it (good or bad) is your responsibility and you owe it to her to do what's right.
