I've wormed/medicated thousands of animals over the years and have never met anything like her Pill no way Tried liquid she slung it everywhere I put revolution on her but I'm think she has Tape She is a Bengal I purchased her a month ago and her coat is dull unkepted any suggestions would be helpful
The redflag for tape worms would be small flat white specs around her butt or in places she sits - segments of the worm. The best method i have found is pill form and usually from a vet. They often have small pills where the ones over the internet are quite large. The key is is to secure the cat, point her head up, wedge open her moth, and make a hole in one past the tongue. Then just hold her mouth closed for a minute
There is a topical wormer...Profender...you can get it from your vet or buy it on-line at Revival Animal Health. I raise Sphynx and have used it for the past 6 months. I think it works great and does not seem to bother their skin. You may want to try it...it is much easier than a pill or paste.
My sister got a Bengal who is hard to pill and handle we use pyrantel Pamoate/ praziquantel it is a broad spectrum De-wromer that covers tapeworms, roundworms, and hookworms. They have them for cats and dogs. We get ours for the local farmers store for like $15 for 12 tablets.
