I found 4-6 month 0ld kitten. She is beautiful with a playful personality. She is an orange tabby( I think)with beautiful markings. We cannot keep her because of allergies. I live in the Atlana, Ga area. I have tried shelters, friends and strangers. All say she is cute but no takers. One shelter will take her but if not adopted within 3-4 days they will put her to sleep. We have made her as confortable as we can outside in this cold weather. I need your help in finding Tabby a home before Jan 10. If not I only have two choices: Leave her on the side of a road(safely)and hope someone takes her in OR take her to the shelter hoping someone adopts her before her 3-4 days run out and they kill her. Please help us to help Tabby find a loving & warm home. She loves to cuddle! Thanks!!!
You could keep her outside in a garage or outbuilding. Give her a space of her own with a box or bedding of some sort with her food, water and litterbox close by and put her a heat lamp near if the weather is to cold. Lots better than dumping her off somewhere else.
This is a no-kill cat shelter on Johnson Ferry Rd in Marietta. It is a super cool place, run entirely by volunteers. I used to volunteer there when it was on Sandtown Rd,. Wow, that was 9 years ago because it was right about the same time I found out I was pregnant with my daughter! It was so much fun-- cats everywhere, no cages! Volunteers come in twice a day and clean litter boxes and feed.
I do not know if they are accepting surrenders or if they are full, but it's worth a shot.
