My 5 year old Scottie took sick Dec. 23, He vomited mucus clear liquid all night. We took him to Dr. in morning. They took xray, did blood work, & he had 2 shots. The Dr. said his tests were all ok, except his pancreas levels were not right They sent him home with 4 day suppy of motion sickness pills to stop vomiting, & antibiotic. I gave him all his medicine as instructed by Dr. He seemed like he was back to normal, playing, eating, & etc. Now last nite he took sick once again. With same symptons. He is also on a special diet due to the reason he was born with systic stones. I'm extremely worried. What can you tell me. I feel the Dr. didn't tell me everything. Please HELP me get some insight on what to do? I'm so worried about my little Harley. Thanks Nancy
I would trust your vet, or get a second opinion. The internet may offer some information if you research. I think you are dealing with something people here don't see day to day or have experience in dealing with. We are not vets, but breeders. Maybe log on to an "ask the vet" website. I do know, from experience with family, that the pancreas is very finicky and NOT something to be messed with or ignored.
