hello, just introducing my new addition to our family two neos male/female and a mini shar pei male....i got my neos in our Christmas Vacation to Michoacan, Mexico....their parents are registred with FCM (Federacfion Canofila Mexicana) but the pups were not registered in order to sell them at a low price for christmas due to the economy down in mexico....anyway i bought them at a vet clinic where they had puppies (neos) for sale from 2 different litters....male is 6 weeks old and female is 5 weeks old, both of them are gray color but female is gray with tawny markings (her mom was tawny and dad silver gray).......my mini shar pei is the puppy left from my shar pei litter, he is 6 weeks old.....all the litter was sold down in mexico (5 pups total sold as x-mas gifts)........anyway, thanks for dropping in....enrique
What? Am I misunderstanding? You sold your litter, even though they are only 6 weeks old? And you bought 2 more puppies-one at 5 weeks and one at 6 weeks? So you now have THREE extremely young puppies at home? I surely hope I'm wrong about all this.
We went to Mexico to visit my in-laws and we took our pair of shar peis and their litter. I visited a vet clinic to ask the vet if he could do home visit and vaccinate my pups in 2 weeks and i saw a sign that said they would have neo's for sale in a couple of weeks from 2 different litters. I've always wanted to have a pair on neo's, so i asked the vet if he was willing to trade, they were asking $8,000 pesos for each roughly $1,400 USD for both. he said that he would think about it and let me know when he went to vaccinate my shar peis...he saw them and agreed inthe trade, i gave him 4 shar peis for the 2 neo's, my female adult "adopted" the neo's and started nursing them together with my last shar pei of the litter and same happened with the shar pei's i traded with the vet, one of the mother of the neo's i got also let the shar peis nurse from her.....that was the only requirement the vet asked in order to do the trade that the pups would be nursed by our females....and they were.... that was 1 weeks ago...now my female neo is 6 weeks old and my male is 7 weeks old....they are already eating solid food and do their playing and socializing with their step brother "mini" shar pei.....i was told by my new friend "vet" that there is no "mini" shar peis but ppl call them for being shorter that the considered "Standard Size".....by the way all the shar peis i left with him are doing great .....so at the end, i got my neo's the vet got his shar pei's and all of them are doing great......enrique

they are cute ! i hope you plan on socializing the bejeepers out of the neo's. i don't know if you know the backgrounds of the puppies parents but even a well bred neo needs tons of socialization. good luck with the 3 of them. i am sure three babies must be a handful !
