Hi There! My family and I just got a new goldendoodle puppy. He is almost four months old. He is always bothering my older dog who is a shih tzu. He doesnt really hurt him but trys playing with him, jumping on him, dragging him around the house by his tail.... I try and step in repeatedly with no care to the puppy. The puppy tries and gets aggressive with me too. although i put him in his place gently but firmly it doesnt seem to be working. Ive never had a bigger dog and i dont want to get rid of him but hes driving me crazy with his unwanted behaviour. I dont know what to do!!! HELP!!

You need to let him know that you are the boss not him. I have a puppy right now that is very domanet. When he barks at me and trys to bite me I grab him by the side of his neck a knock him over and put him on his back and tell him no. I hold him there tell he stops fighting and lays still. I also will not pet him if he jumps on me I push him down and tell him to sit. Then I pet him. It is starting to work it just takes time. I am not sure about your breed. With a mixed breed it is hard to tell what there temperment is going to be. I would take him to some classes to help you and him learn. Big dogs can be very challeging if you do not know how to handle them. Good luck
