I moved into an apartment complex in June 2009 and noticed a small cat running around with several kittens. I have since named her Momma. She is very friendly and sweet, the only problem is that she is pregnant and I have no experience with cats! I already own a dog that survived parvovirus, so I am only experienced in taking care of dogs,I am also a full time college student. My mother noticed the cat was pregnant in late January when she stayed with me after I had a surgery. I recently have been able to keep watch on her since I put my dog's crate outside and she has been camping out in there. I put towels in there to keep her comfortable and I feed her kitten food everyday. I have covered the crate with old/cheap blankets so its covered. However, I do not have a vet in my new town and all animal services say that I have to catch her before they will do anything. The Humane Society here is only open two days a week and it is difficult to get in contact with them! We have been having awful weather here in Texas lately and I don't have a clue as to what to do! Momma looks like she is about to burst! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
