Hi I've first came in contact with the breed of Siberian huskies when I was 12 working for my great grandmothers nieghbor who raised and breeded them....he washe was a doctor nd made house calls during the winter months in canada so sometime times he would be gone for a week at a time so I would tend the the dogs nd even had the the pleasure of seeing pups being brought into this world I did command training with them obediance training nd so on and seem to be pretty good at it....I even had them so well trained the owner I worked for was shocked that I could even call them back when when that high prey drive kicked in nd walked them off leash ( which any true sibe owner knows that is a no no lol) and now I'm the proud parent of my own three sibes two girls and a boy I also even fell in love with the breed of klee kai ( the small husky dogs a different breed but but looks just like a sibe) nd have two boys nd two girls) and a gsd/husky girl... I love the noble & free spirit of the sibe...they are great watch dogs/attack dogs despite what people say...I was walking my first sibe some time back in the park ( I live in new york city lol) nd I let my dog off huis leash so he can get his digging out of his system for the day nd a guy walked up to me and told the classic line give me ur wallet lol I wasn't worried bcuz of my naval combat training but before I could responed my sibe came up from the side and jumped on him. the look on the guys face was priceless my sibe kept him pinned and teeth showing when the police came he told them that I should be arrested for having "Wolf" for a pet me nd the officers laughed and said that he was a Siberian husky...and before I have to deal with an aditude from him as I write this He was asked if he ever wanted a carrer in law inforcment he should join the NYPD....and now he's smiling. Snh this dog lol....so with all of that being said if you have any questions about your sibe or you're thinking about getting one feel free to ask...I'm not a professinal trainer but I'm a parent first nd formost nd only want the best for all animals....nd I'm very sure that other pet owners on here who have been owning sibes or any other breed of dog for more years then me will be more then glad to answer both yours and my questions...
