can you tell me if a 12 week old puppy's lower teeth are infront of and very close to the uppers, when the permanent teeth come in and as the puppy ages, will this be more prounounced and will it cause problems?
If you puppy has an undershot bite at 12 weeks, it will definatly stay undershot. Chances are it will not go way out of wack, but will probably be noticable. You best bet is to talk to the breeder, they usually know their breed the best. If you didn't go to a reputable breeder, then you may be out of luck.
My puggle has an underbite and it doesn't seem to be a problem. When he is done getting a drink of water he dribbles all over the house like he has a hole in his lip. He looks pretty comical sometimes but it doesn't seem to be a problem.
