I believe my dog has a bit of constipation. My boyfriend just told me he had given her a chicken bone the other night and the next day i notice she was not going as much as she usually does. She has not more vomiting, she is still very active but every once in a while she does seem a little bit down. I was recommended to give her scrambled eggs or caned food, since she has been eating dried food, seemed to have helpes very little but she is still having a little bit of trouble voiding. I dont have a job so i cant aford to take her to her doctor, so please does anyone have any sugestions.
Unfortunately, if the chicken bone becomes stuck, or worse it perforates her intestinal tract, if you don't seek a vet out she will die. If she starts to refuse to eat, starts vomiting and isn't able to pass any stool at all, then she needs to see a vet right away.
You can try feeding her lots of cooked white rice or pieces of bread and hope it binds around the chicken bone and helps it pass through without causing any damage but it might be a little late for that. Certainly cannot hurt to do it anyways.
i compleatly agree with scout1; if you don't take her to the vet she will die. Ask your vet if you can make payments...that way you can still help and prevent your dog from choking or worse...death. I'm not trying to scare you, I'm telling you the truth! my sister is a vet and she knows a lot about that kinda stuff. Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!

i really appreciate all the advise, i did call her vet again and told me to give her canned food and that seemed to do the trick she is back to her old hyper self and her stools are passing a lot easier. no more vomiting but i am still gonna taker her in for check up tomorrow because of road closures due to the flood. thanx a lot again.
