Hi I have 2 dogs 1 male collieX about 9 yrs old and 1 female border collie pup who is 9 months. she has started to develop more aggressive behaviour as she's got older which we are worried about she plays fine indoors and outdoors with other dog and friends dogs but over the past 2 months she has started randomly "going for" snapping generally putting the sh*t up our other quite timid layed back dog for no reason, also does it if he walks near her while shes drinking or eating, another worrying thing is she has growled n snapped at all of us specially while we are eating or if we have any kind of food if we have tried to shoo her or move her. so i am getting scared she is going to actually bite someone next. she has also took to digging up chunks of our garden which isnt doing our lawn much good.. please help :) rich x
My Bearded Collie also digs at my lawn. It's really tiring to keep putting the soil (and plants if he digs at the place where the plants are) back. On this website itself, there is a Quick Dog Breed Selector. I've looked up my dog, Bearded Collie. And they say when it is outdoors, it will entertain itself by digging holes on the ground. Why not look up for your dog breed to get loads of information?
Animals have it's own personality, you just have to find it.
the older dog isn't really the problem hes not aggressive atall its our female pup, no she hasnt been spayed yet I'm looking into it at the moment i just dont want to rush into getting her done and her getting worse cause i have heard they can so just thought i would seek other people experiences first :)
we dont have a crate thats problem were we went wrong training here originally but we just tell her no and throw her in the garden when she is bad.. but she loves being in the garden.. but I am currently looking into getting a crate, hopefully at this late stage it will still help
