I have a problem with a barking miniature pinscher how do I try to control it???
Everytime he hears a noise he barks and i use a quiet voice but that doesnt work or if someone comes in our yard he will bark and wont stop is there anything i can do that doesnt require a shock collar???

My miniature pinscher has a bad barking habit. I was wondering what you have to do to break them of that without the use of a shock collar because I don't believe in them.
Its to the point where if u tell him to be quiet in a light tone he just keeps doing it and it gets really annoying after a while.
I've tried rolling a news paper to show him but not hit him and that didn't work. I've tried a spray bottle of water and that didn't work I'm out of options please someone help me break my dog of his barking habit!!!

If you won't do spray or bark collars, then you just have to listen to him bark. Everything else you tried doesn't work, and as far as he is concerned, he has won, and can do what he wants.

You can teach your dog to bark and quiet on cue. Google this to learn how.
