my baby is a yorkie and hes 2 pounds a few months ago he started walking sideways and the vet gave him prednisone and an antibiotic every thing returned to normal for a few months then suddenly he startedagain the chirpractor adjusted his kness like we did last time and nothing then he suddenly started walking like he is drunk so to the vet we went and he did a liver test on him and a bile test, it was incocclusive but due to his size he gave him lactulose and and antibiotic. he's been on this for one week and nothing still the same except he's getting dehydrated. giving lots of water and having to force feed him. he looks like he has parkinson's he jerks all the time and his left eye turns in the vet said this was from walking sideways. i called him saturday to set an appointment and he told me to wait till mon as the lacalose needed time. i was reading on breed enchepilitis and i noticed the the treatment is prednisone and the last time he was on it he got better! huh? has any one had this with their yorkie and if so what was the proper dx.
