Hi, it has been a long time since I had to post any questions. Usually I can find anything just by looking up old answers. Maybe I missed this one....Unfortunately, I do not know enough about dogs to give any advice, so I just look for it.
My question, my boxer/lab mix is now chewing/licking his feet on a constant basis. My vet checked him out and could find nothing wrong both times I took him up. She said it was probably just an allergy and would go away once it frosted outside. Well, that happened and still licking/chewing. We have not changed food/treats/meds. anything.
Has he been on the same food throughout all the issues?
First, he can have some Benedryl to give him sone relief while you work out what is causing it. I would read the label on your food bag. If it contains any grains (corn, wheat, soy) I would change him to a different food that is free from grains.
