Welcome back to a Bolt's dog lesson! Today I'm going to tell you a bit about the breed of 'Siberian Husky'. Well I have a husky fact file in my head, so lets get started!
WHERE DO THEY COME FROM? Hence the name Siberian, they come from Siberia. The American peoples showed Alaska them, but they were actually from Siberia.
WHAT WERE THEY USED FOR? Back then, they were a very important part of transportation in Alaska. They were used to hunt whales, and mostly used to pull supplies and people on sleds. Even today, in some parks, they still use dog sleds in the winter!
HOW BIG ARE THEY? They are considered medium, and they are a little bit smaller than Alaskan Malamutes.
ARE THEY GOOD AT OBEYING? They are pretty hard to train, and they don't really want to obey you.
SHOULD I GET ONE? This dog is perfect if you have someone to walk them while you are gone, have a companion for them, have lots of land, have lots of room in your house, you have patience, you can control them without being harsh, and you can deal with a pretty fiesty dog, this dog is right 4U!
