I got a new dog, and her name is Laika. She is a Siberian husky, and I need to know what chew toys are best for her!!! Also, I have a question- How can I get my dog to not pull me when I walk her? I try doing it the way they tell me, but she drags me across the ground and gets me scraped. Thank You!

There are a bunch of things you can do to stop the pulling. The important thing is to NOT TOLERATE it. Every time you let your dog pull you around tells her it's ok to pull you around during walks.

I have a brittany that is very food motivated. When we started walking together, I carried treats (usually just his regular kibble). I would treat him when he walked with me and focused on me. If he started to pull, I would stop walking. When he came back to focus on me again, I would start walking again. My husband took him to obedience classes, and he learned to walk more like a gentlemen. We also go a plastic prong collar. Even when he gets excited (like when he sees a rabbit) he will not pull when he's wearing that type of collar.
