My horse has Navicular Disease and my family and I live in the city and cannot give him the attention he deserves and now needs. I am wondering if there is any solution for a happy home for him.
My problem is that his mother died during birth, and he is deathly afraid of other horses. We have had exhausting bad luck and unable to socialize him with my horse, which died from an early case of West Nile. So in looking for a home he may not be able to be around other horses.
His name is Joe Jack (J.J.) and he grew up thinking he was a puppy and is a gentleman. We even taught him to shake hands! He is very lonely and needs a loving caregiver. He is 10 years of age now.
If you have any information to help me and my horse please let me know.
I live in Omaha, NE now and my horse is living on my grandparents farm in Genoa, NE.
