I have a 3 months old male tri-color shetland. Initially, both side of his ears were folded downwards. However, the right ear started to straighten up straight recenty while the left remain folded downwards.
I thought that when he was listening to command, he will lift his ear up. After several days of observation, his right ear still remain upright while the left remain folded.
Can anyone adivse what went wrong and how can i solve the unfolding ear issue?
I use a bit of super glue on my aussie puppies. The other thing I have done is duck tape, but that has to gone a specific way, and it ususally done earlier.
During the teething months, your puppies ears will do weird things. They will go up, down, rose, etc. usually after teething they will come back to were they belong. Do not put any sort of weight on the eartip, as it will mess up the muscles in the ear.
I would suggest leaving them alone unless you can find someone who can help you do it right. You can mess up the ears if you tape/glue them wrong.
