So 4 1/2 hours earlier my 2.5lb yorkie puppy ate half of an excedrin pill, he has eaten and been playful all day. He seems perfectly fine. I called the animal poison control and they advised me to take him to the vet due to how small he is. When they quoted me 650.00 at banfeild pet smart I told them that was absurd, and said I simply cant pay that just to get a response, with no act of urgency on there part the doctor didn't even come back in to talk to me. I spoke to another vets office over the phone and they advised me to give him pedialyte and just watch to see if he throws up at all. I brought him home and gave him pedialyte and fed him as normal. He's completely normal, but is there a longevity problem I could be faced with later? Should I take him to another vet or has anyone experienced anything similar? Please help!
