A brother to one of my borzoi died suddenly at 3 years old. He was a field champion, and had coursed 2-3 weeks prior to death. He was the picture of health. Anyway, the results of the necropsy were unusual calcium deposits and hardening of the arteries. They are clueless for a cause. If anyone has any theories, please share. I am concerned as I do own a sibling and don't know if it could be something hereditary.
Pedigree indicates what an animal should be. Conformation indicates what an animal appears to be. But performance indicates what an animal actually is.
