Hi there! Im new to the forum i thought i would try to find a forum and sign up. But anyways i hope some of you can tell me whats going on with my dog. I have a 4 year old Jack russell male. Now i had my dog eating Gravy train. About 2 weeks ago i took him off the gravy train and put him right on Doggy bag i guess thats the name of it its in a white bag i got it from tractor supply. Now for about a week his poop is like runny and it kinda looks like blood in his poop. Can anyone tell me whats going on? The last time i dewormed him was when he was 6 weeks old. Is there anything i can give him? If anyone knows please let me know whats going on. I love my dog and i dont want anything happen to him. Thanks for whoever tells me whats going on it means the world to me!!! I for got to mention that this morning i put him back on the gravy train cause i didnt know if the food was making this do this or what. And he eats and runs and plays normal. When i gave him the gravy train he ate it right down like it was nothing.

Anytime your switching dogfood you should always do it slowly by just adding a little of the new to the food he's used to then just add more of the new and less of the old. Also you should deworm at least twice a year especially if he is outdoors. As for having seen blood is a bad sign and you should probably see a vet to be sure theres nothing more going on. Also i recommend feeding a good quality food it may cost more but you usually end up saving in the long run. Good luck to you and I hope he feels better soon : )
