I need some help and advice. I have been reading other posts and have realized that I have done this all wrong!!! I have an Old English Bulldog named Lucy. When we got her ( from a very questionable character) she was in rough shape. She had recently had puppies and was malnurished. We have since nursed her back to health and she was doing wonderful. That is until last Saturday when I brought home a 13 week old English Bulldog pup. Her name is Lola. So cute and fun, to us, not Lucy. Lucy snaps at her for no reason. Case in point. This morning I walked them together as adviced in another post, one on each side. They did amazingly well until we saw my neighbor. She was talking to both dogs and devided her attention equally. And before I knew it Lucy was crossing behind me and nailed Lola in the face. I pulled her away from lola, made her sit and told her no, not nice. When we got back to my house I put her in time out (my children's play room). When she came out she was happy and fine. Sometimes she looks like she wants to play with Lola. Her nub (tail) is going a mile a minute and she is dancing all over. As soon as she gets to Lola, right in her face, it all changes, the nub points straight up and she is forhead down in Lola's face. If we don't snap her out of it right away she attacks her. HELP ME!!!! PLEASE!!!! Friendly advise needed. Thank you!
