Hello. My name is Shelbay. Awesome having a discussion forum for dogs. I have a miniture schnauzer named Tylee. I've been with her since she came out of the womb. When she couldn't see and cried, I would always go and hold her. I was 15, turning 16 then. I just turned 20. She is a very loving dog towards me and her, "immediate" family. But to other dogs, well, that's a whole different story. But I'll write about that later!
For now, I wanted to know if there was ANYONE else that has the same "pawing" issue with their schnauzer. Tylee Ann will paw me when I'm eating. Like, "Hey! Lemme have a taste." so, that's normal. But for her to spend 15-20 minutes outside prancing around using the bathroom, letting me know to hurry up and fill her food bowl is usually when the "pawing" stops. But lately, I will be using the bathroom and she will come and jump up and put her paws on my knees. And get this, she doesn't like floors that have no carpet. And my bathroom has NO carpet but she still manages to bring her happy tail in their to ruin my concentration and leave her nail indents in my leg.
If you have the same problem, well, it's not really a problem, rather a "I want to know what this gesture is" type of thing, PUHLEASE let me know. So I can communicate with my little princess a little better. (:
