It has now been 51 days since we found Mittens in the back yard in 100 degree weather. She was malnourished, dehydrated, covered with ticks and fleas and later 2 days later we discovered she was pregnant. We have been taking care of her and falling in love with her everyday since. We already have 3 cats ( all neutered) and 2 dogs so we have kept Mittens separated from the other animals in a room in our vacant home next door. We dont know how much longer til she will deliver but if cats are full term at 64 days it cant be long. When we noticed she was pregnant, she was so skinny u could see all of her bones but she had little lumps on her belly and you could feel the tiny heartbeats. We can still feel the babies heartbeats and they are moving around so we know they are ok however her bottom has been wet for two days and it smells funny. Is this a sign of labor or trauma?
