I have a 1 year old male Bichon Frise who is out of control. He seems to think he runs the family and it is getting to the point that I need to get something done as he is disrupting my sleep and basically not letting me work, I work out of my house.
I had a professional dog trainer stop by yesterday and he gave me a quote to have him trained, which I almost fell on the floor after getting the quote, and then was told that they use a correction collar to train their dogs with excellent success. After looking at the collar I do think this is the way to go but do the training myself.
I was wondering which collars you would recommend if any and if this is the way to get Toby trained.
or other enclosure. If he wakes you up at night, its time to get him out of your bed and into a crate. All these remedies are called tough love, but is needed sometimes. If you feel sorry for the dog if you contain him in a kennel, you've already lost.
