Hi, i just got my first yorkie and i have no idea what a roachback is. I was concerned when my pup stands he looks like a cat that's about to pounce. ;( the breeder that i had gotten him from is not answering my calls and texts. I had asked her if there's anything wrong with him and she lied and said he's perfectly fine. I should of done my homework as a first time buyer. Now out of alot of money and i have no idea what to do with him. My kids loves him but it's a big disappointment of wanting a perfect dog for the price i paid. Is there anything i can do to get my $ back? I have no contract with her .... such a dummy on my side as an impulse buyer. Can his back be fixed?
I'll gladly try to help and or provide the best possible advice! Please answer these questions for me, please do not provide the Breeders name within the message as that can be discussed privately if I feel that there is something that can be done to help with your situation.
Where/How did you find the breeder?
What state(s) are you and the breeder located in?
Did the Breeder have documented in the "Ad" or did he/she advise you that the puppy had Roach Back or advise that he/she had an overly arched or convex top line?
How did you pay the Breeder?
Did you obtain a receipt or any paperwork on the puppy?
