My Pit has been getting weird lumps all over her body. We first noticed one day that she had a little bump on her neck, but we simply brushed it off as a bug bite. A little while later, maybe about a month, we noticed it still hasn't gone away. Still, we brushed it off as a REALLY bad bug bite, since we have a history of bad spider problems in this neighborhood. Soon I noticed another lump behind her right front leg, and it still hasn't gone away. We consulted a vet, who decided it might be cyst. He shaved the area of the biggest lump, the one on her neck, and squeezed it. Nothing but blood came out. He said in three months if it gets any bigger to come back so he can cut it off and send it to the lab to check if it was anything cancerous. It's been about two and a half months, and another one has appeared on her right brow. Any suggestions on what it might be?
it could be a tumor, however I would not wait any longer to go back to the vet to have a biopsy done.If it is a tumor that is cancer-hope not, then maybe you'll be able to treat it while it's early, rather than waiting.good luck.
