I have a 1 year and 2 month old Blue Doberman. He is CKC certified and I have all of his papers. He's a WONDERFUL little dude. He's intelligent, has a great demeanor. He's also non aggressive/ plays well with all dogs and is wonderful with small children. (My baby cousin poked and prodded at his face and tail and he let him do it.) So I would love for him to have a few offspring out there. The thing is, I'm a new dog owner and don't know the first thing about studding out my animal. Any and ALL advice is most appreciated.
Obviously I want to make some money off of him with this, but all of the money he brings in will go back to him. When Zepp was a small, new puppy, before I brought him into my life, his leg was broken between his hip and his knee. I've talked with the breeder I received him from about it. She believes that, because she was his mother's favorite and she picked him up and carried him everywhere, that it was broken by her. It will be an invasive surgery; have to go in, re break, reset, shave the bone down, yatta yatta yatta. I don't make enough money to get it fixed on my own, that expense wasn't something that I budgeted when I want prepping for him. So basically I'm making him earn his keep.
Anyone with advice or guidance, thank you in advance.
