I had a 10.5 year old Boxer in January who died. I had just bought my Dalmatian when I had to make up a new name. It was only a couple of months after my Boxer had died so I felt too guilty to call the username "Spotty" or "Dalmatian" etc (I suffered a month or so of feeling guilty about getting a new dog) so I decided to stick with Boxer....and then I couldn't think of what to put on the end and my niece always puts "Babe" on the end of her names so I stole it from her. I hate my name -- it's pretty pathetic "Hi. I'm Boxer Babe"....I sort of wish I had chosen a better one....but I'm not losing any sleep over it. :) I will just have to get another Boxer soon!
My name comes from some fantasy books, kind of. Minneyar was Sithi (or elvish) for the word 'Memory' and was the name of a magic sword in the books. I took it as my fantasy RPG name about 12 years ago. About 4 years ago I tried to get my new charter email account set up and someone had used Minneyar, so I changed it over to Minniyar and went with that. I still swap out the two now and again.
LTLGTO I love the old GTOs too. I don't care for the brand new ones, I just think that all that they look like is a tuner car and not a muscle car. But the new GTOs have really nice engines. I help my grandpa restore a '57 Bel Air. It was so hard. The interior was the hardest part by far. The door panels were a pain, but now it is so sweet. I've been trying to convince him to get any old GTO as a project car. I LOVE the old muscle cars.
I lost my job at the begininning of the year and when I was filling out apps I noticed that a lot of them wanted an e-mail address, my old one was quicksilvergrl07 I thought that was a little childish so I changed it to something I thought would be a little more professional. When I signed on here I was just board at work I really didn't want to make my sn anything to do with any of my three dogs since I was going though my break up and would be loosing them all soon. So I just used my e-mail address.
Cerrenity is my own spelling of serenity. When I was younger it was a nickname, long story behind it really, but it just stuck and I have used it all my life. I like it's meaning-the real word that is-and it sounds pretty so I kept it, just changed it to my way so that it didn't "mean" the exact same thing and it now starts with the same letter as my real name-which is Christina. There is a lot more to the story-like how I got the nickname but that would take me all day to explain from start to finish.
