Frosty Paws? I think that's what it's called. It comes in little cups, like the kind the good humor man sells. Toby loves it. He can hardly wait for me to get the top off when he sees it. He can't finish the whole thing. He scoots it all around the floor licking it to death. It's really cute.
Wendy, gelato is italian ice cream and the difference between it and regular ice cream is gelato is more concentrated, therefore the servings are smaller. Essentially flavour and ice, more like sherbert and most true flavours (think granita) do not contain cream. I'm sure you could find it in your ice cream section in your grocery store but sadly it would pale in comparison to what is available in Roma. Allie I know many an italian that would give you a 'brutto' lecture about your statement regarding sugar content, that is not true gelato that is gelato 'americano'!
"gelato" is great. It is an Italian Ice-cream that you would die for. We really do not have any in the grocery stores. More like specialty stores. We have "Gelato" bars that sell nothing but. In the summer the line up is about an hour long everynight. It is worth it. Also most if not all the bakeries have it. Much more expensive then regular icecream. For a family of four about $20.00 About the doggy ice cream. We don't have that here. Where do you get it? Aisha likes licking popsicles. We have ones that are made with real fruit juice and she goes nuts. I heard that really cold things are not good for the tummy. I guess its okay once in a while.
My dogs love it too. They do go crazy the only problem is evert time you go to the freezer everybody is lined up for their treat including the kids. My 3 year old gives them a thumbs up too. He has gotten ahold of a few.Oh well if he starts barking or lifting his leg I will worry.
