I think its high temperatures like frying that destroys some of the beneficial effects. By the way, to answer your earlier question, I used to have an eskie when I was a kid, best dog I ever had. Hubby doesn't want one because of the shedding. But I so love them.
don't cook your oils! buy small containers, keep in refriegator so they don't spoil. solid gold make a hexten free flax seed oil with rosemary extract = 1 tbsp has 1700mg of linoieoc acid [omega 6] alpha-linoienic acid [omega 3 ] oieic acid 1600mg [omega 9] up to 10lbs give 1 tsp 10-60= 1tbsp 60-100= 2 tsp over 100 3 tbsp **with any new product given i always start with 1/4 the amount they say make sure no reaction on anykind then increase and watch sometimes you don't even need to use full amount to get results my dogs get flaxseed oil, e v olive oil, salamon oil something different everyday but they get oil on top of their food everyday!! omega 3-6-9 have so many good things about it. on the other oils i feed the same amounts as the bottle for the flax seed. my gaint schnauzer-2 years old get 1 1/2 tsp of oil my min schnauzer and shihtzupoodle mix gets about 1/4 to 1/2 on their food.
