huntersmom there is a farm in pennsylvania called the flying w ranch that is breeding american mastiffs. they are a cross between an anatolian shepherd and an english mastiff. guess why they are crossing them? to reduce the drool factor. but i would never get one because it is just supporting bad breeders.
Well, I want all the doggies in the world, but I don't think my mommy would let me....: ) But ehre are some must haves (I have a black lab pit bull mix) great dane, siberian husky, pug, pembroke welsh corgi, German Shepherd, Chihuahua, bernese mountain dog...ALL THE DOGGIES!
Alaskan Malamute-we have cats, and I've heard malamutes love to chase small, fast-moving animals! Bloodhound-we live in the woods, and I'm afraid he would start tracking a raccoon, and we would never see him again! Mastiff-drool factor
I would love to have a German Shepherd Dog. Either an all black one or one of the other colors except white. My mom won't let me have one because she said it would "eat" her. She only says that because her best friend of 22 years is afraid of them. I told her it wouldn't but she said no. I do own a Golden Retriever, Kelsey and two cats, Mikito and Takara.
An Irish Wolfhound.... an awesome Irish wolfhound.... If my husband should pass before I'm too old to have one, I may still have one some day. Until then, I'm more than happy with my poodles and think they're God's favorite dogs anyways.
On the top of my list is a bulldog. I don't have one because they are over 2,000 dollars and I can't stand the thoughts of paying that much for a dog when there are so many in the shelters. Thats why I have 6 adopted dogs. The next is a Dogue de Bourdeaux and than next in line is an Alaskan Malamute.
