~~Dude, it's frickin awesome how you type. Don't stop for anyone else! ~~ OMG! Another 'duder'....lol.... Yeah....I tend to like EM myself......ain't seen him on in a few days though. By the way....those of you who asked about the show - I have participated in their shows myslef. This Founders Favorite is the first of it's kind for them. They have been promoting it for some time now and we (the members) have long been looking forward to it. I mean.....it's one thing to have the Best of Breed or Best in Show.......but the Founders Favorite?? WOW! is all I can say...lol Of course, they have to become Best of Breed first before they can represent their breed in the Founders Favorite. The Great thing about the SCBCA is that you are not competing against thousands of people. They are a very particular registry that alot of people have not heard of. I was suprised to see the lack of knowledge concerning them when I came to thsi board. I'm not sure how many members they have but it's nothing like the other clubs. With that being said, you have a much better chance of winning one of their championships. Their popularity continues to grow though.....so this may not be the case in the near future. They have expanded to add many more dogs already....and they just added a new kids club which is too cool!. Anyway, as EM said - it's worth taking a look at. Their shows are open to members only. Some of their contests are open to everyone. I have been with them for quite a while now. I just like their laid back nature. They are not the 'elitists' as some other clubs when it comes to how they operate. On the otherhand, they ar the 'elitists' when it comes to dogs. Alot of people cannot stand teh SCBCA because they offer pedigree for certain cross breeds so you just have to find what works best for you.
I don't think it matters in QUANTITY of Champioships, but QUALITY. It takes a relatively long time (most of the time) to finish your dog with the AKC or UKC. ---Allie the Chihuahua http://www.dogster.com/?41063 ---Mönica the Kitty http://www.catster.com/?57596
dude.......you all are talking about how I talk!!! lol...thats funny. I can't help my dude addiction.....I'm a surfer (really) and thats just the lingo here. I get comments on it in the real world too...lol..... See, I type really slow.......and I guess I just type what I'm thinking at the moment......and 'dude' must come up in my thoughts alot. Anyway......Allie you are right. The shows should be about quality and they are. It's just that they are choosing the most qualified dog out of say.....500 instead of like....2000. I think thats what she was trying to say. "Dude" (my dog) will be participating in this event. Should he win.....I will be in 'dude' word heaven!
Eminem.......I will say this, I love your attitude. Not one rude comment. I did not single you out by any means. I have two sons, and said the same to them. One of them used to surf. I asked you politely, if you could lighten up. You responded politely and declined, so subject closed. It is your way of talking, your subject, and your keyboard, Dude.
lol...I'm having flashbacks of the Sea Turtle from Finding Nemo,...can ya tell I have kids?? EM...I say stick with the 'dude' dialect.....it gives you character ;-) I speak with a Canadian-Texan-Floridian accent...you all should be thankful I can't type how I talk...lol
