I'm not a psycho, but, when my Rottweiler was dying I told him one day "please come back to me reincarnated". I was devastated to lose him and I just said that to him. Well, now he's been gone for a little while and I have a five month old bulldog puppy who is taking on all of the same charactaristics that my Rotty had. Ex. He jumps in the car if I open the door and will sit in there by himself waiting to go somewhere. He's seriously devastated when he gets scolded and sits in the corner pouting. He stays in the house all day while I'm at work (10 hours alone) and even though I leave a potty pad in the kitchen, he waits until I get home to pee outside. It's kind of freaking me out how much he acts the same. This morning on the pet psychic, a woman said she thought her deceased father might be in her pet and the pet psychic said "usually when we sense something like that, it's because it's true". I know I sound like a lunatic but I simply don't know what else lies beyond our realm of comprehension. Any thoughts?
Well, obviously I don't know. But I do believe in the paranormal. I've never gotten much into reincarnation, but I do believe it's possible, so why not in animals too? Ok, y'all can laugh at me, the paranormal is something I have very opinionated views on, I refuse to change my mind!
Don't feel bad for thinking that way. You never know. That's like when my golden from childhood passed away. About 6 months later we thought it would be time for another dog. Well, it was really weird because my dad wanted to get a german shepherd and was calling on ads. Then this lady called about her golden retrievers. She was like, 'Hi, I'm returning your call about our puppies?' we were perplexed, because my dad didn't call on goldens. We decided to go look at them just because, and when we were driving there...you know how sometimes the sun shines through a small crack in the clouds and makes a ray that shines down on something? lol. It was doing that on this lady's neighborhood! It was really weird. We thought it was sign, so my dad got one of her puppies and we ended up having him for like 12 years. He didn't act like our first dog too much, but he was a great dog.
Funny, Aisha has so many things that remind me of my other shepherd so no, I don't think your losing it. I used to think the same. Actually when looking for Aisha I asked my other shepherd to help me find the right one in my prayers. Who knows???
Mollys Mum, I like how you start your post with, "I'm not a psycho" haha. Anyway, whether your rotty is incarnated in the bulldog or not doesn't really matter as your puppy sounds absolutely divine. Do you have him on dogster? I adores bulldogs. Is he American, French or English? Doxies - if your wife bites you on the a**, you DO know that you deserve it right?! I thought your post was hilarious but I don't think she will...
