They are definately the best! I love their spunky personalities. I have never had any problems potty training them. I have 6 in all, and my mother has 3 that she rescued. They get along well with other dogs as well.. they have also been very good with my children. make sure you ask the breeder about her dogs skin they can have skin problems. if you find your puppy has dry skin let me know i can give great solutions. they have seperation anxiety some more than others. If you keep things up there shouldn't be a problem. I have 2 females that I breed, and one that is fixed. I also have a puppy that I am going to breed, if everything goes well. They all get along very well, I also have 2 males. One pup, and one that is 2 who I am actually fixing to breed him for his first litter, as soon as I get his CERF tested. They all get along, I even have a dalmation that they get along with well also. They, or atleast mine think they are bigger than they really are LOL. If you need any more help, or help when you get the pup, let me know I will be glad to help! Where are you getting the puppy from? I know your excited I always am. Are you going to crate train. I always start out that way, but they always end up sleeping with me.
I will probably crate train, but you are right... I have a schnauzer/poodle mix (mostly poodle) right now that I have not been able to housetrain yet because he hates to be in the crate and I don't make him... and yes he does sleep with us.... He will sleep as long as we do.... It is great. I have never had a dog like that. I am hoping the new puppy will do that as well! Thanks for all of the information and help. I will let you know when I get her.
Really? Gracie, the little black one eyed one... She was harder for me to housebreak because we lived in an apartment, and I was just lazy, but I got 2 new pups this year, and they have been so easy. They sleep all night with us, and Parker wakes us when he needs to go out..and heaven forbid, if they do have an accident, they both go to the same place. My mom's 3, (one that we think is most likely a schnoodle) were easy, except for Virgil, he was one when my mom got him. The vet had called asking if she wanted him, cause they were going to put him down, cause he was puppy shop dog, and he had been in a kennel his whole life. He is the happiest dog though, He has to stay outside, unless it's cold. Now, Delbert the schnoodle, he was housebroke by my little sis. We got him one summer right before I got married, and it was so funny. My sister put him on a leash and he was with her every where she went. If she was in the shower, she would tie the leash on the door knob so he wouldn't roam, let's just say she killed 2 birds with one stone. She housebroke and trained him on the leash that summer. We grew up with Schnauzers my whole life. I studied and still do study them alot. No one around here in my area really breeds the "standard" as in conformation, coat, etc. That is why I wanted to breed them. I loved them so much, I wanted people to get the real deal! When I got Gracie, and yes I love her....but she really isn't the best, top of the line.....(if you know what I mean), so I searched far and wide, and have found my crew. You know something else the only guarnatee you get around here is 72 hours. That's it! Very seldom do you have someone with a one year guarantee. I offer 1, 2, and 3 year guarantees. Whichever the customer wants. All are one year, and people get so tickeled they can't believe it. I give them the option of 2 or 3 years. Oh my goodness, it's the middle of the night, I could just ramble on about these dogs forever....My family is in the horse business, and they think I am CRAZY! They just don't understand....(or most don't anyway)
