"lets not fight, ok?" AH! No fighting just debating! IM sorry I can't help it IM just as passionate about politics as I am about dogs. In the end I personally feel changing presidents in the middle of a war is only going to cause more chaos. Although I feel some of the Presidents actions have led the country into a blind alley. Senator Kerry himself has allowed a great majority of the public to think that the President, against all the evidence of his record, will fight the war in Iraq and the larger war against radical Islam with more success. If Kerry loses the election, this will be one of the reasons because he has in some ways rallied for President Bush.
Sorry IM done...I just realized Chili totally deleted her post :0( Have a great day all. P.S Aisha, I meant no offense whatsoever I have no problem with you or anyone else on this forum. I could care less what we talk about!
if I coud be the bold one to comment here... By the time i got on here...her post was deleted...so...i gather what she wrote was derogatory in some way...I personally remember when McGovern & Nixon was the big thing...My Mom brought home news week and I still couldnt sort all the "crap" out. I think todays young people "sometimes" have a good grasp of politics...In some cases it might be a great thing...And it shows they are paying attention to current events too...All good things...But, persoanlly it doesnt belong on an open forum such as this...Politics, abortion and religion are the main things that could cause discussions to go on for ever or get really ugly. And we dont need more desention here...I applaude the future voters in our communtiy, please dont get me wrong...just there is a time and place for all of it...And maybe a school debade might be good...but a pet forum isnt a great idea.
I LOVE politics! In fact, I am a politics junkie. I have T-shirts and bumper stickers for the candidate I support and I even go to political debates when there is one in my area. I watch political shows every night instead of the reality shows that I hear so much about. I'm not going to tell you guys who I am voting for just because I would not like for people voting for the opposite candidate to feel any differently about me because of it. By the same token, I decided not to read who anybody else here supports because I don't want to associate anyone with their political affiliation everytime I read their posts. (And I think I would, whether I should or not!)
Chili, yahoo me shinyblackpit. :-) Your post was edited so I had no idea who you were going for , :-). Plus, there's bound to be people supporting both sides, you would not be the only one I was telling who.
Well, I am just now catching on to this. I do have an opinion though. Although us being in Iraq may not be the best answer, I think with all the people helping Bush, he must be making the best decision possible. I personally would rather fight them over there than over here. As for the troops, I feel terrible that this happening to them, but they signed up to protect us. I am actually glad Bush did something for Sept. 11. When my husband was in the Navy, He was on the Carrier, The George Washington, and that is the carrier that was in the battle group when the Cole got bombed, I personally think, if Clinton would have done something then, (since he did nothing) a lot could have been provented. I am actually up in the air about this election. My personal issue is that I just don't think I could support a president that supports Free Will Abortions due to Free Will Sex. (Rape is not Free Will) I also am not into the whole cloning, being a Christian I try to see who God would vote for, that is my own personal battle.
