WATCH Video Clip #1 This video clip is a video document of what actually happens to animals in shelters. ~Viewer Discretion Advised this is very graphic.~ This was sent to me by the coordinator of the Johnson County Humane Society. *If your modem is slower watch video #7* http://www.animaldefense.com/greenwalt_videoclips.htm#videosix
IM sorry I know it's painful to watch it's even more painful to actually assist in euthanizing an animal. I assisted in it one time and I WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN! It totally changed me. Reality just hurts so darn bad. My hopes are that anybody out there who thinks "Oh it won't hurt to just breed her one time" will think twice after seeing this.
its not a pretty thing to watch...but it is a ugly fact of life we all live with...The shelter /pound by me only went to the shots about 5 to 7 years ago...the lady that founded the Humane society that i got with paid to get euthiniasa technitions in to put animals to sleep...before that...they cracked them in the head with a brick..and put them into a 50 gal drum to gass...so a sho to go to sleep is much better...When i was young there were animals all over the place...packs of dogs.and one every few miles on the road dead by cars...but i do think the years of protesting has done somthing...i see progress...It isnt perfect...and wont be in our life time maybe...but it is better...we can only hope that it progresses...we all just need to pass along the right message and do our part...thats about all we can do at this point...
stupid me, even after things people have said i watched it. and now im sitting here crying. i wish there was something i could do. unfortuently i don't have the money to adopt all of them like i would like too. i couldn't imagine having to be there while all those animals were being pts.
