I found a small white or light tan dog dead at Thunderbird Paseo Park in Glendale Arizona. It was near bridge on 59th Ave. The dog was wearing a collar and had a short length of rope trailing from the collar. He/she had Missouri tags -- one of them shaped like a bone. Any ideas on how to locate the owner with the sad news? It looked like a coyote or hawk had gotten it.
birddogger: That's so sad. I live in Phoenix. This is the time of year when the snowbirds start to arrive. The dog might have got lost from one of them. If there is a phone # on the tag give it a call and maybe the message will be forwarded to them. I'm sure there will be some heartbroken people that will be relieved to hear what happened to their baby.
aww, thats horrible. definetly phone a number on one of the tags, and give the body to the owners. and if you can't find anyone, the bury the poor thing. definetly try to find the owners first though, i know if something happened to one of my babies, i'd like to be the one to bury them, not some stranger
THATS SO SAD!!! That once kinda happend to me. I was at the park across the street from my house walking my baby dog Ringo with my little friend(she's 7)when we saw this BEAUTIFUL!! kitty crossing the street. He was one of my neighbors cats.Ok so we were watching him cross the street when all of a sudden BOOM!! A car hit him and the stupid car didnt even stop!! The car behind his car stoped to see if the cat was still alive he was breathing for a little while (like 2 seconds) then he died. It was really sad but I was the one to carry his dead body(in a blanket) to my neighbors house for her to burry him. He got hit pretty weird because the car olny hit his head and cracked it open (BARF) anyway it was so sad!!There was a blood stain in the street for over a week!! If there is a Number call them!! Good luck!! :o)
