I have a friend who has a mini schnauzer that I groom up for her. She is black and her coat just doesn't shine, I told her to switch feeds, I think she feeds science diet, (she works at a vet), I told her to change Natural Balance, but you know how that goes. Anyone have any suggestions?
Ahhh... I bet it's one of those soft coats right?... they are more smoky grey than black and discolor to orange from licking or excessive sun. Try a conditioning product with a sunscreen, a stripping knife to help remove some of the soft silvery coat and the diet change may or may not help here. SD is not too bad of a food for normal healthy dogs.
Yes, beer is also great for Human hair, it help cleanse. I have a lincese in beauty, never worked in salon, husband says, well glad your doing something with it! LOL, Yeah, I give my females a hard boiled egg a day when they are bred. Yes, she is American Coat, I personally like the mixed coat. You don't have to clip near as often, but the soft coat is beautiful. My male is Black and silver and he has a very soft coat, but it's black, probably not as black as it could be, (cause I don't strip), Anyway, I will give her some suggestions if she'll take 'em, I was just really trying to figure out when I groomed her, guess there's not really much to do, since I'm not going to strip her. Thanks for the advice!
