I was wondering what different methods people use to dispose their dog's waste. I currently wrap it in a bag and use the trash but I think this is attracting flies and maggots. Open to suggestions! THANKS, PUBLIC
(Uk perspective) I use scented baby nappy (diaper) sacks with the poop scoop and either use the outside household rubbish bin (emptied once a week) or the red dog pooh bins that are scattered around popular dog walks
Unless you have hard clay soil, those waste digesters look really nice. You dig a hole and sink it into your soil and it has a cover. Then you have to buy liquid digester and put it in, I think yearly. You dispose of the poop in the digester bucket and it decomposes in there and fertilizes your soil at the same time.
At a local dollar store they have these little bags (60 in a box for $1.00) they are scented. So I clean up usually 2x a week and the last day of the week is the night before Garbage day and I just throw them all out. We have a larger yard so your not stepping all over it and she tends to use only 2 spots in the yard so clean up is fast and easy. Garbage is really the only way to go. You could safe all of your fabric softner sheets and put them in the bag too. (shrug)
