GinaH, what do you do? I would love a stay at home on the computer job. My wife has been off work for 3 years on L&I due to an auto accident. She is currently finishing up on-line training for Medical Billing & Coding, which hopefully she will be able to do from home. I'm mostly interested in owning a business, but I'm nervous about taking the plunge (financially). I want to open a dog/cat supply shop next to our groomers shop. We have pet stores here, but they sell food, reptiles, fish and such. I would like to just do cat & dog supplies. Toys, treats, grooming supplies, crates, that type of stuff. Maybe someday, before I get to old! LTLGTO
AF Daniel - ATTEN HUT!!! Where are you stationed? I was in for 9 1/2 years from 82-91. I was in Korea (Osan AB) for 3 years and 6 years at March AFB (S. Cal.) I was in Crypto-Maintenance. Finished up in QC in our Comm Group. LTLGTO
Ltgto I work for Blue Cross Blue Shield corporate offices I am an Insurance Auditor. I actually used to do coding and adjudication when I actually worked in the offices but when I finished my degree and got my BA I was offered this position which started out as an office job to until I became sick and couldnt come into work everyday. I was off for 3 months and out of the blue my boss offered me the position so of course I said Yes! I love it.
I am stationed at Dyess AFB in good old tx, jk by the way. I am in a town with a whole wopping 100k people and the closes thing to me is dallas which is 3hrs away. I spent a good 4yrs in germany but been in for 10yrs now. I am from california so not use to a small town.
GinaH, sounds like a good position to be in. Nothing like working from home, I would imaging. Except maybe not having to work at all! AFDaniel, I know Tx. also. Besides basic, my tech schools were mostly at Shepard AFB in Wichita Falls so I got to go back there periodically. What do you do?
