My first question would be what type of food are you using? When I first got Adley he would only eat the cat's food and he stank up the house. Now that he's on puppy chow (through loads of trickery) he's not the stinky kid anymore...
Ha, welcome to my life!!! lol jk. Summer is half pug and she knows how to clear a room!!! I am not sure there is much you can do, someone once suggested bean-o to me, but I am not sure if that would work. If you're not already feeding a good quality food I would suggest switching to some, I feed Ace and Summer Diamond puppy food. But again, Im not even sure that the quality of food will affect their gas. Im sorry I wasn't of better help. Let me know if you find something to stop it!!!! **Kris, Abby, Ace & Summer
First question I have is are you feeding any human food as a meal or treat? I learned with Brock that people food would always cause him to clear the room if not the entire house. Boy can they stink. If you are not feeding human food I would just ask the vet maybe there is a bean-o for dogs LOL.
Our lab is very gassy as well. And totally oblivious to it all........ Anyway, we have noticed that even the smallest morsel of "people food" has horrific effects. I asked the person who helped with our animal adoption about the gas problem, and she suggested either Nutro Lamb & Rice or Royal Canin dog foods. Good luck!
PaigeBeverly, I laughed so hard reading your post. Toby's farts are silent but make no mistake about it.....they are deadly!!!!!!!!! I can't imagine how that horrid smell can come from a 4lb. cute little ball of fluff. P.U. He can clear a room.
