A person from this email address offered me about 5 times what my pet was worth and wanted it shipped to South Africa. They claimed they would send me a confirmation email from western union stating that my money was "approved" but would take 5-7 days to be sent. They told me that I could go ahead and ship the dog as well as various electronic items because the payment was approved. The moral? This is one of a million scammers out there who will either pay with a fake check and ask for money back because they overpaid, or/and will ask you to go to a specific shipping service. Please, don't acecpt any "deals" from these people. REMEMBER, IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT IS.
JoeDirt, remember too, that if you place your pups with care, you will personally know the person to whom they are going. No scammer is going to get through the interviews and recommendations required if you're really thorough with the process. I received quite a few warnings from TP when my pups were listed on here and they sent an e-mail to me with the reason for the listing as a scammer. You're right, you can never be too careful and if it sounds to good to be true, it probably isn't! Thanks for sharing the warning with others.
