I apologise if this has already been posted...I haven't been here in a few days ,and I browsed thru and didn't see it anywhere... Some of the images are very disturbing but it is WELL worth watching (and listening to). and please pass it on... http://www.deviantart.com/view/11454716/ *crossposted with permission from another site*
That was excellent thanks for posting that. If only the people who brand Pitbulls with a horrible name could all see that. Does anyone watch the show on HBO "the Wire"? A couple weeks ago one of the main stories in it was about dog fighting, and I found it to be most probably a very good depiction of what these people do and think of these dogs. Sad. Also there was an Animal Cops on a couple weeks ago as well and they were trying to get a bunch of dogs that were thought to be used in fighting. The officers were saying that the majority of people in that city doing the fighting and owning the dogs were young kids. Thier parents wouldn't let them keep the dogs so these kids moved them from one abandoned house to another. The did rescue three dogs that had obviously been used in fighting. The father of the household said he "Couldn't control" what his 18 year old son was doing. Sadly they were most probably destroyed.
That was excellent. A bit disturbing (some of the pictures) but it really is an eye opener. I have never been a huge fan of pits, because of fear. It really makes you see why the ones who are vicious are that way because of some stupid human making them like that. It brought a tear to my eye.
The artist who created this movie posted it last week. Thank you though, for bringing it back up. For those of you that can't get through the whole thing, the graphic images are only for a short bit in the middle. The end is wonderful.
This is an excellent video. It was created and posted last week by Hyena Klown. I've since sent it to all my Pitbull lover friends. I have a feeling I will be sending it to some non Pitbull lovers in the future.
Oh my Goodness I cried my eyes out when I watched that. It was so touching. I don't know why but my heart is still in a bind. I wish every person who came on this forum would take the time to watch it. This is definitely going into my favorites.
paigebeverly The original Petey in the Little Rascals was a Pit Bull you are probably thinking of the newest remake of the Little Rascals that was made a few years ago. An American Bulldog was used in the remake.
I figured it might have already been posted...its such a powerful message, I guess it doesn't hurt to have it posted twice. I saw it 2 days ago for the first time, and I'm totally with you GinaH.....I was blown away, and it stayed with me for hours afterward. Hyena Klown did an amazing job putting it all together....I think she managed to capture every emotion with this.....shock...horror....sadness....joy....anger. I hope it continues to be circulated, and makes as much of an impact on everyone who sees it as it did on me.
"I thought the dog in The Little Rascals was a american bulldog. I really don't remember though. I haven't seen that movie in years." There are a few different Peteys, the one in the new remake movie was an American Bulldog. The original Petey was a gamebred American Pit Bull Terrier, his sire was the one and only Tudor's GR CH Black Jack a 16 time pit winner. (http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/public/printPedigree.php?dog_id=15094) Petey was an actor who stared in other films and dazzled people with his clownish acts. He was also one of the first dogs registered with the AKC as an American Staffordshire Terrier. GR CH Black Jack blood can be found behind a lot of AST as well as Colby blood.
that movie really shows that pitbulls are not viscious. i really really really want a pit bull now!! i cant believe how badly they are mistreated i wanna save them from person who doesnt kno anything about pitbulls!!!! ahhh i need a pit bull now. EVERYONE needs to see that movie!!!
That was sad at the begining but wonderful at the end. Iwill have to tell my sister about it she has pitbulls. They are so great with kids. Her female watches over my kids like they are hers when we are at her house. She has one male left from her litter of puppies and I'm thinking about getting him for my son. The puppy follows him around and wont leave his side when we are there.she did get her fixed and all the puppies went to friends or very good homes. One couple who bought a female gives her bottled water because they said we dont drink city water andont expect her to. They have play dates with my dogs and a biunch of others it's so funny to watch her dogs play with my bassets. They dont know what to think of there ears!
it makes you think about the human/ animal bond greatly.its very true and i hope people take it to heart.myself by the end wanted to cry, but i held it back. have to watch this one agian foe the good parts.
